Easy mode is unlocked after completing the main game in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. When starting a new file you will be asked to choose a game mode. With easy mode you start at the level your Adepts were at the end of the main game. All enemies will retain their origanal stats as well. It also transfers all your money and EXP from the completed file to the new game. It does not transfer items or Djinn though. This option is not available in the original Golden Sun though. Possibly due to the fact that you must lose the first battle against Saturos and Menardi. Seeing as how this battle is written into the game having high level adepts not being able to beat the duo could cause the game to crash.
