Aaron (ジェラおとうと
Jera-otouto) is a resident of
Vale and thus, an
Adept. His grandfather is the Mayor, and he is the younger brother of
Garet. He also has an older sister named
Kay. He is known to tease Garet about his appetite, as well as making fun of the fact that Garet cries upon returning to Vale when thinking his family dead. After Garet's departure from Vale to go on his quest with
Isaac for
The Wise One, Aaron swears that he will protect the family himself while Garet is away, something Garet will encourage him with if visiting Vale and talking to Aaron after going through the
Lamakan Desert.
In the Japanese version of the game, he is unnamed and is simply referred to as Garet's younger brother in the debug room. It is the debug room, in the English version, where the name of Aaron Jerra comes from. Outside of the Debug Room, however, even the English version of the game never gives his name.
