Found throughout both games in limited quantities each are items that can be consumed to permanently increase a statistic for a party member. All of these items are considered Artifacts, and can be bought for 500 coins and sold for 375 coins. Listed below for each item are all locations where these items can be found.

[edit] Apple
An Apple is an item that can be consumed to permanently raise an Adept's Attack rating.
In Golden Sun, Apples can be found:
- In Kolima in the upper right hand corner there are six baskets. In the upper left basket there is an apple.
- In the Mogall Forest there is a chest containing an apple.
- In the Gondowan Cave there is a chest containing an apple.
- In the Kalay Tunnel there is a chest containing an apple.
In Golden Sun: The Lost Age, Apples can be found:
- In the Madra Catacombs, after you enter it the second time with reveal there is a chest with an apple in it.
- In the inn in Alhafra there is a jar on the second floor with water in it. It contains an apple.
- At the top of Gaia Rock there is a chest with an apple in it.
- At the Kalt Island there is a tree with an apple on it. Requires Catch.
- At Magma Rock in first entrance that you come to there is a mimic that drops an apple.
- At the entrance to Mars Lighthouse, there is a ladder to the right. Go up it and follow the path to a treasure chest with an apple in it.

A Cookie is an item that can be consumed to permanently raise an Adept's PP rating.
In Golden Sun, Cookies can be found:
- After defeating the Hydros Statue and receiving the Lift Gem on the second level of the mines there is a chest behind a liftable boulder containing one.
- In Altmiller Cave on the 5th floor there is a chest containing a cookie. Take the path to the left first instead of going down to get to it.
- In the Suhalla Desert, in the area where there are three Windstorms above you, defeat the one to the far left to gain access to the chest containing the cookie.
- Found on the third level of Crossbone Isle behind the middle-right blue door.
In The Lost Age, Cookies can be found:
- There is a chest with a cookie at the base of Air's Rock.
- Outside Piers' ship (East Indra Shore, before sailing for the first time) there is a box with a cookie. It requires the Frost Psynergy to reach.
- At the Taopo Swamp if when you enter the swamp part if you backtrack to right below where the entrance is there is another path. This path leads to a treasure chest with a cookie in it.
- In Treasure Island there is a cookie in the group of six chests at the beginning. Requires Grind.
- In Prox, circle around the outside of the inn. There is a jar with a cookie in it.
- After you first enter Mars Lighthouse immediately to your right there is a Mimic that drops a cookie.
[edit] Hard Nut
A Hard Nut is an item that can be consumed to permanently raise an Adept's Defense rating.
In Golden Sun, Hard Nuts can be found:
- In the town of Bilibin in the house between the armory and the potion shop.
- While passing through the Bilibin Barricade after completing Mercury Lighthouse, the three tree's that had been stacked on top of each other have fallen and one is in the water. If you use move on the one in the water and bring it ashore on the way back through after removing the curse they will give you a hard nut in gratitude.
- Inside Babi's Palace, down the stairs into the laboratory in one of the jars.
- In Suhalla there is a chest containing a hard nut. To get it head towards the sanctuary, go to the right side of it and hop across the river. Head left to find the chest.
- Found on the first level of Crossbone Isle. This item can only be obtained by making the rest of the room inaccessible. Cast Move on the second stone and move it to the left.
In The Lost Age, Hard Nuts can be found:
- In the Yampi Desert there is a chest with a Hard Nut in it in the area with the running sand rivers. This is the same area where you can get the Blow Mace.
- In the Great Gabomba the mimic drops a Hard Nut.
- After solving the first ice puzzle in Tundaria Tower and going up the stairs you should be in a room with four sets of stairs. Take the one in the upper left hand corner. This will lead you to a chest with the Hard Nut in it.
- In the bottom right hand corner of Lemuria, under Lunpa's house, there is a patch of grass. Use cyclone on it to reveal the Hard Nut.
- In the Shaman Village, right before Trial Road, to the left of it after blowing away the sand there is a ladder that you can climb to get to a chest with a Hard Nut in it.
[edit] Lucky Pepper
Lucky Pepper is an item that can be consumed to permanently raise an Adept's Luck rating. Luck decreases the chance an opponent will inflict a Status condition on you.
In Golden Sun, Lucky Pepper can be found:
- In the inn at Imil there is a Lucky Pepper in the stove.
- In the first area of Babi Lighthouse there is a chest containing a lucky pepper that requires the Carry Stone to get.
- In the Lamakan Desert in the biggest area there is a chest with a lucky pepper in the upper left portion of the area.
- Found on the second level of Crossbone Isle. Held within a treasure chest in the top right corner of the room.
In The Lost Age, Lucky Pepper can be found:
- Inside the inn in the town of Mikasalla there is a box containing one.
- In Kibombo, there is a house to the left and above the armory. Beside this house is a jar with a lucky pepper.
- Inside Aqua Rock there is a chest containing a Lucky Pepper.
- Inside the fortune teller's tent in Shaman Village there are two jars. The one on the right has the lucky pepper.
- At the top of Trial Road there is a spot to use the Hover Jade in that cave there is a boulder that requires lift (Received from the second party after Jupiter Lighthouse) Below is an oasis with a Mad Plant that drops a Lucky Pepper.

A Mint is an item that can be consumed to permanently raise an Adept's Agility rating.
In Golden Sun, Mints can be found:
- In the inn at Vault.
- In the Lamakin Desert, in the area where you fight the Manticore there are three stone circles. One contains an Oasis and the other contains a chest with the mint.
- At the Suhalla Gate the first slide that you come upon brings you to a chest with a mint in it.
- Found on the surface of Crossbone Isle by climbing to the top of the cliff and taking the rightmost dirt slide.
In The Lost Age, Mints can be found:
- In the Dehkan Plateau there is a treasure chest with a mint in it.
- In the Gabomba Catacombs in the third area there is a circle of grass. Use cyclone on it to reveal the Mint.
- At the Apoji Islands at the bottom right corner of the first area, there is a patch of grass that you can use cyclone on. Doing so will reward you with a mint.
- At Tundaria Tower there is a chest containing a mint at the first ice puzzle. After parching the water blocking the path on the right and jumping across the gaps to get to a set of stairs, take the lower door. This will put you at the right side of the ice puzzle. The instructions to get it are: left (onto the ice), down, left, up, right, up, left.
- At the entrance to Jupiter Lighthouse there is a patch of grass that you can use cyclone on to reveal a mint.
- In Jupiter Lighthouse there is a Mad Plant that drops a mint.
[edit] Power Bread
A Power Bread is an item that can be consumed to permanently raise an Adept's HP rating.
In Golden Sun, Power Bread can be found:
- In Vale, a Power Bread can be found in a small cave behind the shop. Use Whirlwind on the bushes to reveal the cave.
- In Alpine Crossing, a treasure chest containing a Power Bread can be found. The Growth and Frost Psynergies are needed to reach it.
- In Tolbi inside the building above the weapon shop.
- In Lunpa Fortress, a treasure chest containing a Power Bread can be found on the bottom level. The Cloak Ball is required.
In The Lost Age, Power Bread can be found:
- At Kibombo Mountains there is a chest next to the fourth guard. Push the crate above him onto him in order to walk in front of him without detection and get to the chest.
- There is a chest containing a power bread inside the Ankohl Ruins.
- After Briggs has escaped, go into the Alhafran Cave and make your way to his cell. There is a power bread in one of the boxes.
- In Contigo there is box next to the village sanctum with a power bread.
- In Treasure Island there is a Mimic that drops a Power Bread.
