An Ardagh Robe is a Robe-class piece of armor found in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. It is acquired by giving a Salamander Tail to Sunshine the Blacksmith in Yallam, where he will randomly forge it into either that or four other Mars-based items. The name "Ardagh" is Irish in origin.
The Ardagh Robe features a high defense rating of 44. It increases the wearer’s Mars power by 20 and Mars resistance by 40, so the wearer’s fire attacks are more powerful and takes less damage from it as well. It is bought for 9900 coins while its resale value is 7425 coins.
The Ardagh Robe, as a Robe-class item, is wearable by Ivan, Mia, Jenna, and Sheba. Jenna can wear it to make her Mars Psynergy even more powerful. It may also be advisable, however, to give it to an Adept using a multi-element character class that includes Mars Psynergy, so that that Adept can use Mars Psynergy effectively while being able to use the Psynergy of the other elements of that class.
