Blast (Nova) Psynergy series

Blast, Nova, and Supernova are a series of Mars attack Psynergy featured in both games. It is available to the Brute Class series, making it useable by the Venus Adepts Isaac and Felix and the Mars Adepts Garet and Jenna.

This series is extremely similar to the Fire Bomb Psynergy series. In addition, "Blast" is also the name of the first Psynergy in the Blast (Fiery) Psynergy series, a fact which can occasionally lead to confusion.

Blast: "Attack with a massive explosion.": This costs 7 Psynergy Points, has a base power of 40, and has a range of three targets. A large but brief explosion of fire discharges at the enemy party's position. It is available at level 6.

Nova: "Attack with a massive explosion.": This costs 13 Psynergy Points, has a base power of 70, and has a range of five targets. A large explosion of fire discharges at the enemy party's position. It is available at level 16.

Supernova: "Attack with a massive explosion.": This costs 31 Psynergy Points, has a base power of 150, and has a range of seven targets. A large and extended explosion of fire discharges at the enemy party's position. It is available at level 40.

This Psynergy series is very similar to the Guard's Fire Psynergy series, although it is slightly stronger and more expensive. If the player wishes to use the Brute series (which one may well decide to do, thanks to this series' high statistical influences), then this Psynergy series is likely to see some use, as it is the most powerful multi-target Mars-based Psynergy available.

The only enemy that has Nova in its arsenal is the Manticore.

The only enemy that has Supernova in her arsenal is Menardi and she will repeat it more than once if you take out Saturos before her during the battle at Venus Lighthouse.
