Many of the enemies throughout the Golden Sun series are palette swaps of each other, including some bosses. For the most part, this is not merely a cosmetic detail; most monsters that are differently colored and powered versions of the same base creature design share general themes in battle, and almost always share the same array of elemental resistances and power ratings. Therefore, it is worth arranging and presenting the monsters in the games by appearance-based "lineage". Also see the Bosses category.
