Orihalcon
From Golden Sun Universe
Orihalcon (supposed to be Orichalcum, a brass/gold metal associated with Atlantis in Plato) is the most powerful forgeable material in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. It is described as "An ore of great power". Because it is an Artifact, it can be sold and later repurchased. It can be bought for 4000 coins and sold for 3000 coins.

Orihalcon can be obtained in the following areas:
- Sea of Time Islet
- Mars Lighthouse
- From an transfer-data event during the first departure from Contigo after the reuinion, assuming Isaac's party rescued Hammet from Dodonpa in Golden Sun.
It can also be dropped (extremely rarely) from a Sky Dragon in Anemos Sanctum (fell it with Jupiter Djinn to increase drop rate by four times).

Big Bang Gloves: Glove class: Defense +47: Mars power +40. It is bought for 10200 coins and sold for 7650 coins. The chance of it being forged is 15%.
Cosmos Shield: Shield class: Defense +49: All elemental resistances +20. It is bought for 12200 coins and sold for 9150 coins. The chance of it being forged is 15%.
Excalibur: Long Sword class: Attack +180: Unleashes Legend, which converts to Jupiter damage, adds 73 attack points, and often strikes for 3 times the damage. It is bought for 29200 coins and sold for 21900 coins. The chance of it being forged is 5%.
Millenium Helm: Helm class: Defense +48: Maximum HP +20. It is bought for 11400 coins and sold for 8550 coins. The chance of it being forged is 20%.
Nebula Wand: Staff class: Attack +165: Unleashes Reverse Star, which converts to Mercury damage, adds 63 damage points, and addds 10% damage done to the user's own PP meter. It is bought for 15200 coins and sold for 11400 coins. The chance of it being forged is 10%.
Stellar Axe: Axe class: Attack +171: Unleashes Supernova, which converts to Jupiter damage, adds 63 attack points, and stuns the target. It is bought for 19700 coins and sold for 14775 coins. The chance of it being forged is 10%.
Xylion Armor: Armor class: Defense +50: Attack +12. It is bought for 22500 coins and sold for 16875 coins. The chance of it being forged is 20%.

Some of the Orihalcon-forged equipment is the best in The Lost Age; the Excalibur is the second best weapon in the game following the Sol Blade because it can randomly exceed even the Sol Blade's Unleash damage, and since multiple Excaliburs can be forged you can have three Excaliburs equipped onto your other three warrior Adepts. The Cosmos Shield is the best hand-armor oriented toward defense. Big Bang Gloves can be specifically useful to an Adept that attacks with Mars-aligned offenses. The Nebula Wand is as good a weapon for an Adept like Mia as you're going to get. The Millenium Helm and Xylion Armor are generally strong defensive items with generally strong statistics buffs. The Stellar Axe is perhaps the least desirable, being far inferior to Excalibur.
