The Pirate's Sword is a Light Blade in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. It is found in a treasure chest at the Osenia Cliffs. Being a Light Blade, it can be equipped by Isaac, Felix, Garet, Jenna, Ivan, and Piers. It increases the wielder's attack by 34. It can be bought for 2000 coins and sold for 1500 coins.
The Pirate's Sword's Unleash effect is Dreamtide. Dreamtide converts all damage to Mercury damage and attacks with an additional 12 damage points. Also, it may put the target to sleep. Visually, Dreamtide resembles a wave coming from behind the user and crashing into the target.
The Pirate's Sword is obtained early in the game, and is the strongest weapon at the time it is found. At that time, only Felix and Jenna can equip it. It will most likely be given to Jenna as she has a lower attack rating (assuming that she is in her default class series). It will most likely be replaced in Garoh by Hypnos' Sword, which is essentially a stronger version of the Pirate's Sword.
